BSNL CO issued OM for discontinuation of without voucher facility i.e. fixed
cash reimbursement of Rs 1000 per month under BSNL MRS available to all retired
BSNL employees and their dependents under Outdoor Medical facility. Copy<<<>>
This
facility was already discontinued for serving Executives/Non-Executives and the
same has been now discontinued for Retired Employees. This order has caused
mass unrest among the Retired employees of BSNL and they are protesting against
this arbitrary decision of BSNL management.
AUAB Call for Relay Hunger Fast and Lunch Hour Demonstrations: In continuation of series of agitational actions by AUAB CHQ, today Relay Hunger Fast is being held at BSNL Corporate Office , Janpath New Delhi by all General Secretaries , Circle Secretaries and other Office Bearers of BSNL Corporate Office and by Circle Secretaries and other Office Bearers at Circle HQs. Apart from this it is decided to hold Mass Lunch Hour Demonstrations at Corporate Office, Circle, BA and OA levels. CIRCULAR <<<>>
Further, AUAB has already given
request to BSNL Management for stopping or postponing BSNL day celebrations
till the pending proposal by BSNL for approval of Third Pay/Wage revision for
BSNL workforce is approved by the DoT. COPY

Some sensitive and excellent
officers have responded to request of AUAB and cancelled all Programme of BSNL
Day Celebrations. But till some officers working on deputation in BSNL and
enjoying benefits of Pay Revision as per the 7th CPC are forcefully arranging celebrations by neglecting sentiment,
pains and feelings of BSNL workforce.
As such, AUAB has decided to boycott any such celebration arranged by insensitive officers who are working against the interest of BSNL and its workforce.
